We believe the Bible is the Inspired Word of God
II Timothy 3:16 “All scripture is given by the inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, written by men of old as the Holy Spirit moved upon the (II Peter 1:20-21), and that it is therefore the authentic, pure, and life changing Message given for mankind to live by.
We believe in Bible Salvation
As the Bible teaches, we believe that Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not by works. We realize that we are all sinners and are incapable of saving ourselves. We must first believe that God exists and he rewards those who seek after Him (Hebrews 11:6). We must then act upon our faith in God by being obedient to the Gospel: we are commanded to repent of our sinful life, to be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ for the removal of our sins, and to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost with the initial sign of speaking with other tongues as God gives the ability (Acts 2:1-4, 2:38, 4:12, 8:12-17, 10:43-48, 19:1-6). Thus the various aspects of faith and obedience work together in God’s grace to draw us closer in relationship with Him.
We believe in the Bible doctrine of the Oneness of God
We believe that the one God who revealed Himself in the Old Testament as Jehovah revealed Himself in the birth of the Son of God, Jesus Christ. Thus, Jesus Christ was and is God. Jesus is the one true God manifested in flesh, for in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily (John 1:1-14; I Timothy 3:16; Colossians 2:9-10).
While fully God, Jesus was also fully man, possessing a full and true humanity. He was both God and man. Moreover, the Holy Ghost is God with us and in us. Paul spoke of the Holy Ghost as “Christ in you, the hope of Glory” (Colossians 1:27). Thus God is manifested as The Father in creation, as The Son for our redemption, and as The Holy Ghost for our regeneration.
We Believe In Endeavoring To Live a Life that Pleases God
We believe that God, who is Holy, calls each of us into relationship with Him. I Peter 1:16 says, “Be ye holy, for I am holy.”
God is holy and above sin, and therefore He is the only one that can help us to overcome sin. We understand that only through Christ can we be in right standing with God. Thus we enter into a holy relationship with our Heavenly Father. This relationship reveals itself in every aspect of our lives. With the knowledge of His plan for Salvation, the revelation of who He is, and the blessing of the life He equips us to lead, we believe and anticipate the soon return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
